Meet Stonelake of Halifax
Edward & his son, Stewart Oughton, first opened in 1968 as a Land Rover main dealer on Wakefield Road in Halifax, trading as Copley Motors Ltd. After establishing themselves, the business grew from strength to strength. Stewart then expanded taking the business & his loyal customer base to Wakefield under the new name of Stonelake Land Rover still as a main dealer.
Today, it is Ben & Luke (Stewart’s sons) who would like to welcome you to Stonelake of Halifax – Independent Land Rover & Range Rover Specialists. Having worked at their local Land Rover main dealer (Rocar Moores Huddersfield – now Rybrook Huddersfield) since leaving school, they are both fully Land Rover trained, and have proved themselves in the industry, by working their way up the ranks to achieve master technician diagnostic status and full MOT tester qualifications. Both brothers left Rocar Moores in early 2015 to pursue and establish their new business venture- Stonelake of Halifax.
